Passionate Penny Pincher began in 2009 as a popular blog, guiding busy moms with tips on discounts, budgeting, and making the most out of every dollar. Founder Laurie Hise and her team quickly became a friend and a mentor to millions of likeminded women out there, and in 2019 they launched their first products on their own online shop.
Today their store specializes in planners, recipe packs, and other tools to help their customers and blog readers manage life at home, bringing peace and joy to the chaos. Passionate Penny Pincher’s products offer a system that makes keeping track of schedules, budgeting, and meal planning easier than ever, empowering women to feel confident and equipped as they care for their families.
The Passionate Penny Pincher initially came to Metacake for coaching to reach growth goals and identify areas for opportunity and expansion. This project developed into brand positioning and alignment, redesigning and rebuilding their Shopify store, and helping manage marketing initiatives, primarily in the email channel.
