“Noble” (2014, released in some regions in 2016) is a biographical drama written and directed by Stephen Bradley, starring Deirdre O’Kane as Christina Noble. The film chronicles the remarkable true story of an Irish woman who rises above a harrowing childhood in Dublin—filled with poverty, abuse, and loss—to discover her purpose later in life. In 1989, guided by a vision, she travels to Vietnam during the post-war era and dedicates herself to helping street children, founding a foundation in Ho Chi Minh City. Spanning decades, “Noble” juxtaposes her early struggles with her transformative work abroad, highlighting her resilience, compassion, and unwavering spirit. The film earned acclaim for O’Kane’s moving portrayal and its uplifting narrative, though some critics found its style conventional. It’s a testament to one woman’s impact on countless lives.
Metacake teamed up with Aspiration Media to design and develop an interactive movie site for the 2014 biographical drama “Noble,” starring Deirdre O’Kane as Christina Noble. Our goal was to capture the film’s inspiring story and drive ticket sales. We crafted a visually compelling site featuring trailers that showcased Christina’s journey from hardship to heroism, paired with interactive content like timelines and character insights to deepen audience engagement. A key feature was the #sheisnoble campaign, integrated into the site with shareable graphics and calls-to-action, encouraging fans to spread the word on social media. Our custom development ensured seamless navigation and mobile optimization, enhancing user experience. Post-launch, we tracked engagement analytics to refine the campaign, amplifying its reach. Aspiration Media hailed our creative strategy and execution, noting the site and #sheisnoble movement significantly boosted awareness and ticket sales for “Noble.”
